// LIFT (Central Coast Youth Council)

Are you aged between 12 and 25 and you want to make a difference to your local community?

Well look no further because LIFT is your answer. LIFT stands for Life Imagination Fun Team. The group was formed in mid 2008 with six keen and enthusiastic people wanting to make a difference in the Central Coast region. The group has grown a lot since then, we have about fifteen members at the present, this is not enough, we would like as many as possible.

Every second Tuesday LIFT has their meeting at the Council Chambers from 5:30pm. The meetings aren’t professional or strict, the meetings are fun and very enjoyable, and each member gets their say and is treated with upmost respect.

The events that have been held in the past were very successful, LIFT have held two Band Nights that have been held at Ulverstone High, and a movie night that was held at the Civic Centre. The youth council has a great future with many exciting projects yet to be held.
